I was just outside grilling dinner and watching the forest fire. It started yesterday afternoon with a lightning strike in the late afternoon. They had it under control last night. Today, it seemed really hazy and smoky in the early afternoon, but at dinner time it came back with a vengeance. The fire was much bigger and the smoke much blacker. It is almost 7 o'clock now and it looks like it might be under control again.
Hard for me to tell how far or close the fire is. Is it on this bluff or somewhere much farther behind the bluff. All in all, its too close for me.
