I have just been sucked into my house remodel project. We are finally making some progress at the house. The kitchen is really starting to come together.
But after 8 months of a 'this will only take 4 to 6 weeks' project, my nerves are shot. Lately, the house is sucking up all of time, energy and my will to live.

We are also trying to finish a partial remodel of the kitchen. It started with just wanting to replace the '70 tile countertops (off-white ceramic with avocado grout), but of course turned into much more. The removal of the old countertop was very difficult, and then every product we ordered came late or wrong or broken or all the above. We are almost done -- just some trim let to do. I'll put up some pictures. This project was supposed to take a couple of weeks, but some how we're getting close to month 4. What a time suck.
